OUR REACH: SCIENCE WORX PARTNER PROGRAMMING.

Why we're here: to support
hands-on Learning.

We're partnering to feed curiosity and ignite imaginations through hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education programs. In the classroom, after school and out in the world, together we can inspire students.

Our ScienceWoRx™ programs address critical gaps in STEM education, including:

  • Curriculum that serves students with special learning needs
  • Programs that address the gender gap in STEM careers
  • Programs that address geographic gaps, both in rural and urban communities

Our future mandates that we train the next generation for the demands we will face when the world needs new bridges built, a cure for a rare cancer or information on new galaxies.

That’s why we work to transform the student experience and inspire their career choices. Our goal is to support the training of teachers in STEM curriculum to help them open new doors — and new worlds — for their students. All they need are the tools, a dedicated teacher and a chance.

New Rural Spark Project™ inspires teachers, students and communities.

Through a grant to Project Lead The Way (PLTW), we seek to change the shape of STEM learning in targeted Illinois rural areas for middle and high school students by providing funds for supporting teacher training, curriculum and exciting hands-on learning opportunities in the classroom and the community.

Meet the Mentors.

They're shaping young minds—and the future for all of us. Teachers, aides, leaders and employers are mentoring students and giving them the encouragement they need to succeed. Simply learning won't do. Application is everything.

Our featured mentors, along with countless others, are inspiring children to see STEM topics in a different light—a brighter one. Their methods foster interest and their encouragement creates enlightenment.
